This lovely family of three in Beach Grove, Delta, is looking for a reliable part-time nanny for their 2-year-old daughter to start as soon as possible. They’re offering up to $45 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Note: The family is flexible with end times. Please indicate your preferred schedule when applying.

Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Providing attentive and nurturing childcare, bathroom assistance (recently potty trained), handwashing, and general care as needed.
2. Preparing and serving nutritious breakfast, snacks, and lunch for the child.
3. Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities and interactive play to support development.
4. Driving to and participating in registered programs such as gymnastics, swimming, and music.
5. Establishing a calming nap routine and putting the child down for her nap (at approximately 1:30 - 2:30 PM).
6. Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as unloading the dishwasher, doing the child's laundry, tidying up play areas, and other tasks as required.
7. Completing short local errands as needed (ex., groceries and dry cleaning).

They are a happy family of three who enjoy outdoor sports, recreation, and spending quality time together, especially around meals. Both parents are working professionals. Their daughter is happy, energetic, and sweet. She is currently enrolled in swimming and gymnastics (caregiver participation required), and the family is always looking for activities to keep her engaged. While she follows directions well for her age, she has a speech-language delay and is currently working with a specialist.

They're particularly looking for someone with enthusiasm and energy, who is safety-conscious and keen to be outside, as their child is always on the go and loves outdoor activities. Someone willing to play and foster basic learning and development through play and fun. Home-cooked foods are also a priority for our family, and a candidate with cooking skills would also be highly preferred.

They would also require someone with a basic understanding and awareness of indoor cats, as the family has two Bengal cats that are very friendly, social, and active. Ideally, the nanny would assist with cat feeding at times.

Driving is required, and a vehicle for work purposes will be provided.
