This warm and welcoming family with a 6-month-old in Topham Park, Toronto, is looking for a nanny to start as soon as possible. They are offering up to $35/hour, plus potential health benefits, for the right candidate. Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Note: The family is flexible and can offer additional hours to create a 35 hour per week schedule if preferred. If a nanny prefers more hours, the family would like someone who can also take on house management duties. Please specify your preference when applying. Duties will evolve as their family grows. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Both parents primarily work from home and will be present most of the day. They value open communication, lifelong learning, and a home environment that celebrates creativity, diversity, kindness, and play. They are particularly seeking a nanny who is a self-starter and ideally skilled at house management (if choosing a longer schedule). Someone who is comfortable using technology for communication and daily tracking, and who demonstrates a commitment to personal reflection and ongoing professional development, would be an excellent fit. They are ideally looking for someone long-term who can adapt as family needs change over time. Training in Montessori or other child-related educational approaches is important to the family. An ECE designation would also be considered an asset! This is a COVID-cautious household. It is important to the family that the nanny is comfortable wearing an N95 mask indoors and while near their child outdoors. Driving is not required at this time but may be in the future as the family grows.
