This family from New York City, with their two children (ages 3 and 2), is looking for a nanny to join them during their stay in Vancouver and Salt Spring Island from August 18 to August 31, 2025. They’re offering up to $45 per hour, plus private accommodation for the right candidate.

Schedule:
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM daily from August 18 -22, 2025 (Vancouver)
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily from August 23 to August 31, 2025 (Salt Spring Island)

This is a childcare-focused role. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Joining the family in Vancouver from August 18–22, 2025, and in Salt Spring Island from August 23–31, providing general childcare for the two children.
- Preparing and feeding the children breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Engaging the children in fun activities, including swimming, and supervising them responsibly around water
- Changing diapers for the 2-year-old and putting her down for naps
- Bathing and getting the children ready for bed

The family will be staying at the grandparents' house in Salt Spring Island, and there will be extended family around, including cousins and grandparents. It’s important that the nanny is comfortable working in a family-oriented setting.

The mom will also be with the children most of the time and is very hands-on. She is looking for a nanny who is proactive and able to come up with fun, engaging activities in the garden or forest, and someone who enjoys planning crafts and games to keep the children busy, entertained, and happy.

The nanny will have their own private bedroom in the house.

Driving is not required.
