This family in Dundarave, West Vancouver is looking for a nurturing, toddler-savvy nanny to join them for a short-term, full-time role starting this summer. The position begins ASAP and runs until February 28, 2026. They’re offering $40–$45/hour for the right candidate and travel perks. The family can guarantee 35 hours per week between Tuesday and Saturday. Additional flexibility will be required during travel. This is a child-focused role with heavy travel. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing attentive care and ensuring the child’s well-being, safety, and emotional development. The role also involves proactively supporting the child in reaching developmental milestones and ensuring the child gets outside to move around and play each day. The family is seeking someone who is experienced with toddlers, ideally with a background in early childhood education (ECE) or a similar qualification. Someone respectful of the parents’ preferences and desires for their home and parenting styles, and who can step in or step out based on the parents’ preferences and privacy needs. The nanny should be a proactive self-starter, continually identifying ways to assist the child and parents with minimal direction and oversight. It is important to the family that the nanny is comfortable around dogs. Driving will be required on occasion and a vehicle will be provided.
