This new family in Cabbagetown, Toronto, expecting their newborn in October, is looking for a full-time nanny/housekeeper to be part of their team and start on September 1, 2025, to allow for a smooth transition and preparation period before their baby's arrival. They're offering $30/hour plus potential health and dental benefits for the right candidate. Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM Duties: - For the first 6 months, the mom will be home with the baby. Most of the help needed will be around the house. This includes keeping things tidy and organized, doing laundry, washing bottles, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning floors, the kitchen, and bathrooms. The mom will also occasionally need help with the baby, especially when she’s running errands or needs a short break or nap. - After 6 months, the mom will be going back to work part-time. At that point, the job will be more focused on childcare. Baby care will include things like feeding, changing diapers, helping with naps, playtime, etc. They would also love for their child to be socialized, so if the nanny is connected with other nanny communities or playgroups, they would encourage outings and social activities during the day. Both parents plan to be very involved and active as parents, and they’re looking for someone who can help them so they can enjoy quality time with their baby. Since they don’t have family living nearby, having extra support at home is very important to them. They’re hoping to find someone who can be a supportive part of their home as they start this new chapter as a family. They’re particularly looking for someone who is kind, caring, and really enjoys being around children. Someone who is calm, nurturing, and friendly. They also value dependability, punctuality, initiative, and strong organizational skills. Communication and teamwork are essential as well. They also have two beautiful Goldendoodles who are both very caring and compassionate dogs. No pet care is required, but they will be present in the home during the day, so it's important that the nanny/housekeeper is comfortable around them. Driving is not required.
