A family of four in Mount Pleasant (Calgary), with two children ages 6 and almost 3, is looking for a kind and experienced part-time nanny to be part of their team to start as soon as possible. They are offering $38/hour for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM

The family is also open to an alternate Friday schedule if preferred. On Fridays, the nanny could work mornings from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, helping get both children ready for the day. Please note your preference when applying for the position.

Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to:
- Providing general childcare for both children.
- Doing some meal preparation and light housework at the start of the shift.
- Picking up the 6-year-old from school, located just four blocks away, and bringing her home (the dad typically arrives around 6:00–6:30 PM with the 3-year-old from daycare for family dinner).

Both parents are busy professionals. Their 6-year-old daughter is very kind and sensitive, with a love for crafts, drawing, gymnastics, and swimming. Their 3-year-old son is hilarious and energetic, with growing interests in cars, construction, dinosaurs, and baseball. He enjoys following his older sister and copying everything she does. The family emphasizes raising their children to be empathetic, kind, and thoughtful, and they are looking for someone who shares the same values.

They are particularly looking for a kind and experienced candidate who enjoys cooking healthy meals for families, is comfortable doing light housework, and would enjoy spending some time doing crafts or other fun activities with the children to help grow their imagination.

The family also has a gentle, quiet, hypoallergenic Samoyed dog who is wonderful with the children. Most days, the dog will not be at the house (as she attends dog daycare), but occasionally, the nanny may need to interact with her. They are looking for someone comfortable working around pets.
