*** Exciting New Long-Term Opportunity: Full-Time Nanny Needed for a Lovely Family in Scarboro (Calgary) Starting September 2nd, 2025 – Earn Up to $29/Hour + Potential Health Benefits & Bonuses!

This wonderful family of six in Scarboro, Calgary, with four girls (ages 8, 6, 4, and 2), is looking for a long-term, full-time nanny to join their family starting September 2nd, 2025. They are offering up to $29 per hour, plus potential health benefits and 4 weeks of vacation (2 weeks at Christmas and 2 weeks in August) for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing general childcare for the children, primarily the toddler
- Organizing indoor and outdoor play and supervising playdates
- Planning activities such as crafts, library visits, trips to Telus Spark, the zoo, playground visits, etc.
- Structuring and maintaining routines
- Offering emotional support and fostering development
- Meal planning and preparation
- Laundry
- Maintaining household tidiness (only light housekeeping is needed, as they already have a housekeeping service)
- Driving children to appointments as required
- Caring for children when sick

The family resides in the close-knit community of Scarboro in Calgary and values community connections. They are particularly looking for a nanny who can integrate the children into this network and someone who is proactive, engages in learning with the children, and is mature, responsible, and aligned with the family’s parenting approach.

Their oldest daughter has been diagnosed with severe Social Anxiety Disorder, and the second eldest has Autism (presenting as highly anxious). Although the nanny will be primarily caring for their toddler, it is important to them that the nanny is comfortable working with children with special needs and is willing to adopt strategies as directed by the parents or behavior aide. Experience working with children with special needs, particularly anxious children, would be a plus!

The ideal candidate is someone who can commit long-term and help foster independence by encouraging the children to take on more responsibility, such as cleaning up after activities, taking out their lunch kits, and making their beds, ensuring they develop essential responsibilities and life skills.

Driving is required, and a vehicle will be provided during work hours.
