*** Exciting Opportunity in Lakeview Heights (West Kelowna): Overnight Nanny Needed ASAP – Earn Up to $40/Hour!

A wonderful family in Lakeview Heights (West Kelowna) is looking for an overnight nanny to assist with their 4-month-old baby and start as soon as possible. They’re offering up to $40 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, around the hours of 10 PM to 10 AM. The family will provide the schedule in advance for mutual agreement (guaranteed 40-50 hours/week). Please specify your schedule preference when applying.

NOTE: The schedule will transition to daytime in the long term. For now, they need overnight support and anticipate the change in a few months.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Providing general overnight care (staying awake through the night).
- Managing general childcare needs, including diaper changes and daily hygiene.
- Establishing and promoting healthy feeding and sleeping routines.
- Implementing structured sleep schedules and sleep training.
- Providing guidance on bonding, swaddling, soothing, and other caregiving aspects.
- Assisting the mom during the postpartum period, including breastfeeding support and other needs.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

The dad works in the music industry and travels frequently, so they are looking for someone to support them, particularly the mom, when the dad is away. As first-time parents, they are looking for someone with medical knowledge and general experience in infant care.

They will also be traveling in the U.S. between August and October this year and would love to have someone join them. They do not need someone to stay the entire time but would prefer a candidate open to traveling for a week or two at a time as needed.

The ideal candidate is patient, intelligent, flexible, adaptable, trustworthy, and possesses good communication skills. They are also looking for someone who can commit long-term, as they plan to have a second child.

While driving is not required, it would be preferred.
