Due to his medical concerns, he is G-tube fed and is on oxygen supplied by a nasal cannula. He also uses a nasal high flow humidifier and his oxygen levels are monitored overnight. Duties include:
One or both parents will be in the home during overnight shifts so if anything unexpected happened they would step in to help. The nanny will be required to stay awake for the entire shift. Parents are detail-oriented so clear verbal and written instruction will be provided, as well as simple training with some medical equipment will be provided. Given the medical fragility of their son, it is very important that the family stays healthy, so a Nanny who is conscious of health, cleanliness and hygiene is desired.
