This family of four in Kitsilano, Vancouver, with two lovely children (ages 6 and 3), is looking for an active and engaging nanny to join their team as soon as possible. They are offering up to $31 per hour, plus other potential bonuses for the right candidate.

Schedule: The family is open to two options. Please see below:
Option A: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM (Morning Shift)
Option B: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Afternoon Shift)

Important Note: The family is flexible and offers 2-3 shifts per week, depending on the nanny's preference. Please be sure to indicate which option you prefer when applying for this position, and specify which days if you prefer only 2 shifts per week.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Providing general childcare.
2. Planning and engaging both children in age-appropriate activities.
3. Driving the children to activities as needed.
- For the morning shift: The nanny will be responsible for dropping off the oldest child, getting her ready for school, taking the 3-year-old to activities, creating fun adventures for her, and then dropping her off and settling her at school by 12:30 PM.
- For the afternoon shift: The nanny will be responsible for pick-ups.
4. Supporting homework, art projects, and reading.
5. Preparing meals and snacks.
6. Performing light housekeeping.
7. Occasionally helping with walking the dog, especially when one parent is traveling.

They are a calm, loving, and organized family that values routine and emphasizes outdoor activities and developmental play for their children. Both parents work full-time but always prioritize their children, who are active and love park time. The family also has a kind-hearted Golden Doodle and would appreciate occasional help with walking the dog.

The family believes in setting boundaries without timeouts or yelling and prefers talking about their children’s feelings while prioritizing healthy food choices. They are seeking someone who shares their approach and is collaborative. The ideal candidate is someone who is bubbly, knows how to connect with children their age, enjoys being active (rain or shine), can create adventures, and knows how to engage with and build relationships with kids. The candidate should be positive, upbeat, honest, trustworthy, focused on the children's safety, and able to remain calm and grounded.

Driving is required, and a car will be provided for work purposes.
