*** A Returning Family in Kitsilano (Vancouver) is Looking for a Full-Time Nanny to Start ASAP, Earn Up to $31/Hour + Other Potential Bonuses!

This family of four in Kitsilano, Vancouver, with two lovely children (ages 6 and 3), is looking for an active and engaging nanny to join their team as soon as possible. They are offering up to $31 per hour, plus other potential bonuses for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM

Note: The family is willing to be flexible for a great candidate who prefers a 4-day work week, as long as the additional day off is ideally Wednesday. Please indicate your preference when applying for this position.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.) Providing general childcare.
2.) Taking the youngest child to activities in the morning and coming up with fun, engaging plans for her.
3.) Planning and engaging both children in age-appropriate activities.
4.) Driving the children to activities as needed.
5.) Supporting homework, art projects, and reading.
6.) Performing light housekeeping while the youngest attends school from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM, such as assisting with laundry, family meal prep, tidying, and other light household tasks (the family already has a cleaner). There’s flexibility to take a break during this time if it fits better with the schedule.
7.) Occasionally helping with walking the dog, especially when one parent is traveling.

They are a calm, loving, and organized family that values routine and emphasizes outdoor activities and developmental play for their children. Both parents work full-time but always prioritize their children, who are active and love park time. The family also has a kind-hearted Golden Doodle and would appreciate occasional help with walking the dog.

The family believes in setting boundaries without timeouts or yelling and prefers talking about their children’s feelings while prioritizing healthy food choices. They are seeking someone who shares their approach and is collaborative. The ideal candidate is someone who is active, enjoys outdoor adventures, and can support household projects while the children are at school. The candidate should be positive, upbeat, honest, trustworthy, focused on the children’s safety, and able to remain calm and grounded.

Driving is required, and a car will be provided for work purposes.
