This wonderful family in Lakeview Heights (West Kelowna) is seeking an overnight nanny/newborn care specialist (NCS) to assist with their first child, due in early October, and start as soon as possible. They're offering up to $40 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, around the hours of 10 PM to 10 AM. They will also need occasional weekend support, especially when the dad is travelling. The family will provide the schedule in advance for mutual agreement (guaranteed 40-50 hours/week).

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Providing general overnight care for their baby on the way (staying awake through the night).
- Managing general childcare needs, including diaper changes and daily hygiene.
- Establishing and promoting healthy feeding and sleeping routines for the baby.
- Implementing structured sleep schedules and sleep training.
- Providing guidance on bonding, swaddling, soothing, and other caregiving aspects.
- Assisting the mom during the postpartum period, including breastfeeding support and other needs.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

The dad works in the music industry and travels frequently, so they are looking for someone to support them, particularly the mom, when the dad is away. As first-time parents, they are seeking someone with medical and general experience in newborn care.

The ideal candidate is someone patient, intelligent, flexible, adaptable, trustworthy, and possesses good communication skills.

While driving is not required, it would be preferred.

Candidates who can commit long-term will also be prioritized.
