This lovely returning family in Altamont, West Vancouver, is looking for an additional overnight newborn care specialist who can start ASAP. They are offering up to $45 per hour, plus healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Friday: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Saturday: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Sunday: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Note: They are also open to adding an additional evening shift on either Thursday or Monday to make it 40 hours per week. Please specify your preference when applying for this position.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Establishing and promoting healthy feeding and sleeping routines for their baby.
- Educating and advising parents on overall infant care.
- Implementing a structured sleep schedule.
- Managing general baby care needs, including diaper changes and baths.
- Providing guidance on bonding, swaddling, soothing, etc.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Travel may also be required.

Both parents are entrepreneurs with high energy and a very positive outlook on life. In terms of lifestyle, they are active outdoors and love to travel.

They are particularly looking for someone with newborn care experience who can lead with patience, attuned communication, and emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate must be someone who works well in a group, as there are other team members working to support the family during the day and night (they also already have a house assistant, and daily housekeeper, daytime newborn care specialists, and are also hiring a full-time nanny). Additionally, the candidate must be open to learning new methods and approaches. Collaborating with other people and a willingness to learn new things are essential.

Any post-partum doula experience and self or professionally trained in Waldorf, RIE, Montessori experience, gentle parenting rearing would be a plus!

The family is vaccinated against COVID, and they would appreciate it if the nanny is the same.
