This new family in Altamont is looking for a full-time nanny/mother's helper who can support them and their baby. The role involves a mix of duties caring for their baby and home. They are offering up to $45 per hour, plus health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for the right candidate. They're looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with some flexibility to start earlier)

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Providing general care for their newborn baby, including engaging in developmentally appropriate activities with the baby.
- Offering help and support to the new mom (buying supplies, suggesting brands, etc.).
- Performing light housekeeping duties such as organizing, tidying, running errands, cooking, and food prep. (They already have a house assistant and daily housekeeper).
- Traveling with the family domestically and internationally, and assisting with packing baby items for travel.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Both parents are entrepreneurs with high energy and a very positive outlook on life. In terms of lifestyle, they are active outdoors and love to travel. They hope to hire someone who also enjoys being on a boat and being outdoors, especially in summer.

The ideal candidate must be someone who works well in a group, as there are other team members working to support the family during the day and night (they already have a house assistant, and daily housekeeper, and newborn care specialists). They are particularly looking for someone with extensive baby and toddler experience who can lead with patience, attuned communication, and emotional intelligence. Additionally, the candidate must be open to learning new methods and approaches and have a long-term outlook with the family. Collaborating with other people and a willingness to learn new things are essential.

Any post-partum doula experience and self or professionally trained in Waldorf, RIE, Montessori experience, gentle parenting would be a plus!

Driving is required, and the family will provide a vehicle during work hours.

The family is vaccinated against COVID, and they would appreciate it if the nanny is the same.
