This family of four in Leaside is in search of an engaging after-school nanny to join their team starting in early April. With two delightful children aged 5 and 9, this role offers up to $30 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM

They are flexible with the hours provided (can be adjusted earlier or later). Guaranteed hours are 25 per week.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Providing general childcare to the children.
- Picking up the children from their school.
- Supervising homework.
- Engaging kids with daytime activities.
- Meal prep.
- Folding laundry.
- General tidying (they already have a cleaning service).

Both parents work in busy professional roles and are seeking to establish a long-term arrangement for part-time care. The younger son is inquisitive, loves helping out in the kitchen, and learns by using his hands and being actively engaged. The oldest child is an avid reader, enjoys animals, nature, and outdoor activities. He is also on the autism spectrum, so they are specifically seeking a nanny who is friendly, engaging, and possesses a high-energy personality.

The ideal candidate is someone who is patient and caring, with lots of fun/creative energy. Someone who has the ability to create structure to ensure the children understand rules and behave respectfully.

Experience with autism would be a plus, but it is not a requirement.

The family is vaccinated against COVID, and they would appreciate it if the nanny is the same.
