** Part-Time Nanny Position in Manotick for a Wonderful Family of Four, Starting January 3rd, Earn up to $35!

This lovely family of four in Manotick is looking for a part-time nanny to join their household starting on January 3rd next year (the start date is flexible). The mom has been on maternity leave for the past year and now has to return to the office two days a week. If possible, they would like someone to start earlier so the children can form a bond beforehand.

Their 4-year-old son is a curious but shy little boy who loves to ask questions and is already showing a keen interest in science, especially rockets. Their 1-year-old daughter is a smiley yet sometimes stubborn baby girl who loves animals. Both kids enjoy helping their mom and dad, whether it's making meals, running errands, or completing projects with their dad. They are a pretty low-key family who enjoy being together at home.

Schedule
Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The start time is flexible. The son comes home from school around 3 PM, but they would like someone to start earlier to help with light housekeeping and laundry. They are also looking to include a couple of nights out per month. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Meeting the son at the bus stop after school and settling him in.
- Preparing a snack, cleaning the lunchbox for the next day, and entertaining the son until it’s time to pick up the daughter at around 4.
- Walking with the son to pick up the daughter at a neighbor’s home daycare.
- Bringing them both home and entertaining them until the parents arrive home around 6.
- Some light meal preparation and assistance with laundry.

The ideal candidate must be someone energetic who can keep up with the kids, as well as kind and patient, and willing to communicate with the parents.

Note: While having a car and driving is not required for the job, public transit is not reliable for getting to the family's place. The candidate will likely need a vehicle.
