University Hill, UBC,
CURRENTLY INTERVIEWING - Second round
This warm and inviting household near University Hill (UBC), is looking for an experienced, communicative but most importantly kind Nanny for their adorable baby girl!
The start date is flexible and will depend on finding the perfect match, but sometime between May and June is ideal. The general schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, although start and end times are also a bit flexible. They will guarantee at least 40 hours per week, but there will be an opportunity for more hours (50 ish) and some weekend help may be needed at times.
This child-focused role will include mainly childcare duties such as bathing, diapering, lots of cuddles, playtime, and fresh air! Light housekeeping pertaining to the baby like laundry, dishes, meal prep, cleaning, and disinfecting toys, and keeping play spaces clean and tidy will also be required. The family employs a housekeeper weekly, so no deep cleaning is needed, but they do appreciate a clean and tidy home so someone who can clean as they go would be a great fit here!
The ideal Nanny would be experienced in baby and toddler development and ideally have education in childcare like ECE, pre-school, elementary school, BA child development, BI, etc.
If you have experience with high net worth/high profile families that would be a big bonus. The Nanny should be well versed in setting boundaries and is the epitome of professionalism and discretion.
This is a progressive-minded family and they are looking for a Nanny who generally aligns with their values and world views such as mental health understanding, not homophobic, anti-racist, etc.
The family would love to have the Nanny join them for family vacations to the US, so if you are up for adventures, this is the family for you!
A driver with their own vehicle is required. If you speak Spanish that would be a huge bonus!
There are no pets in the home.
***If you are a creative, authentic, engaging, motivated, self-starter, this family would love to meet you!***
Only candidates in Canada will be considered.
