This welcoming family in Birch Cliff, Toronto, with 5-year-old twins, is looking for a full-time night nanny to primarily help support one of the children with special needs at night, starting as soon as possible. They're offering up to $32 per hour for the right candidate. Schedule:
Duties: 1.) General Childcare: Provide general care during the nights for the twins, mainly for the son with special needs. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: giving baths, settling him into bed, and helping him return to bed if he wakes up during the night. The nanny must be able to assist/intervene when he becomes emotionally dysregulated, which can happen if he wakes up in the middle of the night. 2.) Light Housekeeping: Provide light housekeeping, such as family laundry and family meal preparation. The nanny will have access to a guest bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. They're a loving family with fraternal twins (a girl and a boy). Their daughter is eager to learn, creative, empathetic, and courteous. Their son is very active and enjoys sensory-focused play. He also has Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder and needs support during the night. They're particularly looking for a night nanny with experience in special needs care, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, reliable, gentle, kind, and hardworking. They also already have a daytime nanny.
