About the Family
Both children are bright, active, affectionate, and curious, but they have very different personalities and developmental needs. One child is thoughtful, empathetic, observant, and a little more reserved. He loves cars, trucks, drawing, climbing, soccer, and basketball. He is currently working with a Speech-Language Therapist and benefits from a calm, consistent caregiver who gives him the time and space to communicate, transition between activities, and feel heard. His brother is outgoing, chatty, energetic, social, and an incredibly eager learner. He loves singing, dancing, puzzles, word games, creative activities, and learning new things. He thrives with a caregiver who can keep him engaged, challenged, and busy! Both parents work primarily from home and are very involved with their children. They are looking for someone who is comfortable working collaboratively with parents and the family's existing nannies. Responsibilities:
The family would love to find a nanny who is warm, patient, playful, and genuinely interested in early childhood development. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside two career nannies, eager to have fun, consistent in their approach, and open to learning from their colleagues. A play-centric approach to childcare is important, as well as some exposure to children with learning disabilities or neurodivergence, although professional experience is not required. A therapeutic or developmental approach to childcare would be a strong asset. One of the boys has been assessed for possible Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder and is currently being monitored. The family is looking for someone who is comfortable meeting children where they are developmentally and adapting their approach to each child's individual personality and needs. The nanny must be a strong/confident swimmer, as the children love swimming. A driver's licence is preferred, particularly in case of emergencies, but not mandatory. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who enjoys being part of a collaborative household and wants to build meaningful individual relationships with two fun, affectionate, and very different little boys.
