Two positions available

1. Early Morning Nanny : 7:30am-11:30am

and/or

2. Afternoon Nanny: 3:00pm-5:00pm

DRIVING POSITION

A warm family in Etobicoke is looking for a long-term Family Assistant / Nanny to support their busy household and two young children, ages 1 and 3, who are in daycare full-time.

The family is looking for someone warm, organized, proactive, and great with young children.

Their eldest daughter has a speech delay so someone with experience assisting with speech and language strategies is a strong asset.

Schedule
*Please specify which schedule you are interested in. The family would love to find one nanny interested in both shifts but will consider two nannies.

Monday–Friday:
7:30am-11:30am

or (and)

Monday - Friday:
3:00-8:00pm

Weekend support may be requested with advance notice.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

- Provide warm and engaging care for the children
- Drop off and pick up the children from school and daycare
- Plan age-appropriate play, reading, and activities
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
- Help with morning, after-daycare, and evening routines
- Support the children's development through everyday play and interaction

Family Assistant Support:

- Family laundry
- Keeping toys, children's spaces, and common areas tidy and organized
- Changing bed linens
- Light vacuuming and floor clean-up as needed
- Keeping the kitchen tidy and cleaning up after children's meals
- Grocery shopping and occasional errands
- Keeping track of children's supplies, clothing, and other household needs
- Meal preparation as needed

The Ideal Candidate
- Warm, loving, and confident with toddlers
- Organized, reliable, and proactive
- Comfortable balancing childcare and household support
- Interested in child development and engaging children through play
- Looking for a long-term position
- An RECE designation or educational background is an asset

Driving is required, and the family provides a vehicle for use during working hours.

Please Note: This is a fragrance-free household. Mom and the youngest daughter have allergies so someone who pays attention to labels and has experience working with a child with allergies is an asset.
