Family Assistant Needed in North Vancouver. Earn up to $40/hour

A wonderful family in North Vancouver is looking for an organized, reliable, and proactive Family Assistant to support their household and two school-aged children long-term.

The children are independent, articulate, and kind and walk home from school on their own. Their 11-year-old daughter is involved in competitive dance and requires transportation to dance afterschool 3 days a week.

Schedule

The family is flexible depending on the right candidate:

Option 1: Monday–Friday, approximately 1:00–6:00 p.m.
Option 2: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, approximately 2:00–6:00 p.m.

Up to 30 hours per week can be offered to someone interested in taking on additional household responsibilities. Please specify your ideal when you apply.

Responsibilities:

- Meal preparation
- Organizing and tidying the home
- Laundry
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Keeping track of library books, permission forms, school items, and schedules
- Driving their daughter to competitive dance three afternoons per week
- Providing general after-school support and companionship to the children.

We are looking for someone who enjoys household organization and working with older children. You should be organized, dependable, punctual, and proactive. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted long-term part of their household.

A driver's license is strongly preferred. The family provides a vehicle for use while on duty.
