A warm, close-knit family in Waterloo is seeking a kind, competent, and fun nanny to provide full-time care for their nearly 6-month-old son and after-school care for their 5-year-old daughter.

Their son is a happy, thriving baby who loves his sleep and enjoys exploring new sensory activities while awake. Their daughter will be starting Senior Kindergarten at a new school this fall and attends school full-time. She will arrive home by school bus in the afternoon, at which point the nanny will provide care for both children.

Both parents are busy professionals and hands-on parents. They are looking for a dependable and engaging nanny who will become a trusted part of their family's day-to-day life.

Monday–Friday
8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for the family's nearly 6-month-old son throughout the day, including feeding, naps, play, sensory activities, outings, and supporting his routines and development.
- Welcome the family's 5-year-old daughter home from the school bus and provide engaging and attentive care for both children for the remainder of the afternoon.
- Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals and snacks for the children using food and ingredients provided by the family.
- During the baby's naps, assist with light household tasks related to the children, including children's laundry, tidying play areas, and keeping the kitchen tidy.
- Provide minimal assistance with the family's evening meal preparation, such as taking requested ingredients or a prepared meal out of the freezer so it is ready for the parents at the end of the day.

They are looking for someone reliable, kind, competent, and fun who has experience caring for babies and school age children.

Driving is required and the ideal candidate has their own car they are comfortable using for work.
