A busy family in Aurora is seeking a mature, experienced career nanny to join their long-term household team. This is a unique opportunity to work in busy and loving home alongside other experienced nannies and household staff.

The family has four children (ages 14, 5, 3, and 1). The three oldest children attend school full-time, while the youngest is home during the day. The oldest child is largely self-sufficient but requires transportation to and from extracurricular activities and general supervision and connection.

Teamwork, professionalism, and excellent communication are essential. It is very rare that one nanny is responsible for caring for all four children independently, as the household works collaboratively to provide seamless care and support.

The family values their employees and has built a stable, long-term team. They are looking for someone seeking a career position who will become an integral part of their household for years to come.

Schedule:

Approximately 40 hours per week (part-time may also be considered for the right candidate)

The schedule is flexible and will be determined based on the successful candidate's preferences, availability, and the family's needs. (10:30-6:30pm and Thursdays 11:30-7:30pm for example)

The successful candidate must be available to provide coverage on Thursdays until approximately 7:30 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits:

$30–$45/hour, based on experience and fit

Responsibilities:

Exceptional Childcare:

Provide nurturing, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for children of all ages and stages, adapting your approach to meet each child's individual needs.

Children's Daily Routines:

Support age appropriate routines, prepare healthy meals and snacks, encourage learning through play, and create a safe, engaging environment.

Transportation:

Safely transport the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, appointments, and outings using your own vehicle.

Child Related Household Support:

Assist with light household duties related to the children. While the family employs a full-time housekeeper, responsibilities include children's meal preparation, children's laundry, tidying and organizing children's bedrooms and play areas, rotating clothing and toys as needed, and helping keep children's supplies fully stocked.

The Ideal Candidate:

- A professional, career nanny with extensive childcare experience
- Warm, organized, dependable, and punctual
- An exceptional communicator
- Experienced working collaboratively with other nannies or household staff
- Knowledgeable about child development (an educational background is a strong asset)
- Comfortable transporting children to and from school and activities using their own vehicle
- Pet-friendly. The family has two cats
