Full-Time, Flexible Nanny needed in Northeast Calgary ASAP! Earn up to $35/hour

This busy family is looking for an energetic, easygoing, and confident nanny to be their right hand. Mom is a registered midwife who is on call at all hours, babies come whenever they come! Dad plays professional hockey overseas, so Mom is largely solo parenting their almost-2-year-old son, with a second baby due in early 2027.

The family has a friendly dog and a busy household, and they're looking for someone flexible who can bring positive energy to the home. We are looking for someone with a good sense of humour who is reliable and has experience with children under 3 years of age.

Schedule:

This role requires flexibility, as hours shift with Mom's on-call midwife schedule and the family's evolving needs. This can be a temporary role for the month of August or a long-term role picking back up in November 2026.

Thu Jul 30 – 7:30am–9:30am and 4:00pm–8:30pm (bedtime) and a flat overnight rate

Overnights are paid at a flat rate. If the child wakes up and the mom is home, she will tend to him.

Responsibilities
• Daycare drop-off (and pick-up when needed, depending on births/on-call shifts)
• Energetic, hands-on care for an active toddler
• Breakfast and dinner prep for the child
• Overnight care, mainly to have a responsible adult in the home if Mom is called away during the night
• Postpartum support once the new baby arrives
• Light, day-to-day household upkeep
• Driving required (daycare runs and activities)
• Comfortable being around the family dog
