This film industry family in Auburn Bay, Calgary, is looking for a nanny who can provide care for their two children, ages 8 and 10, while the family is filming for 4 weeks and expecting to work nights. They’re offering up to $40 per hour for the right candidate.

The parents will be filming a feature film for the duration of the contract. They will be working 12 hours/day, but the start time will vary and won’t be confirmed until closer to the dates. The tentative schedule is:

* Week 1: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
* Week 2: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Monday to Wednesday); 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Thursday and Friday)
* Week 3: 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Monday and Tuesday); 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)
* Week 4: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.) Providing general childcare for their 10-year-old and 8-year-old. The role will involve getting them ready for school, dropping them off, and picking them up.

2.) Helping around the home when the children are in school, which includes meal prep for the kids, children’s laundry, etc.

Both parents are filmmakers and work in environmental consulting. They are looking for a nanny who can assist them with their children while they are filming. The nanny will have their own room and can sleep when the children are sleeping.

Driving is not required, but would be an asset.
