DRIVING POSITION

A welcoming family in West Point Grey, Vancouver, is looking for a long-term, full-time nanny for their two children, ages 3 and 6, to start as soon as possible. They are offering $35+ per hour, plus potential benefits for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Ideally, they would like someone who can also commit to staying until 10:00 PM two nights per week.

Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Picking up and dropping off the children to/from school and activities
- Food preparation for the children as needed, mostly lunch for the younger child and snacks for both children, with dinner preparation on occasion
- Assisting the children with dressing, toileting, bathing, eating, bedtime, etc.
- Keeping the play area, bedrooms, and closets organized (laundry is usually handled by their housekeeper)
- Reading to the children and supporting their development (e.g., tracing letters with the younger child)

The family would also like someone who is available to travel with them. They typically travel in the summer and would love for the nanny to join them for part or all of their trip to London.

Both parents work and travel frequently. They try to be as present as they can, but they need a nanny they can rely on to get the children where they need to go, keep them well fed and hydrated, support their overall well-being, and communicate with them about how the children are doing. Both children are energetic and fun-loving. They love to learn and play and have a variety of activities to keep them active and engaged. They speak English and French at home, and both children are learning French at school. They love music, and both children play instruments, read regularly, and enjoy being active. The family would like the children to have opportunities to play outdoors every day.

Communication is one of the most important things for the family, as both parents work from an office most days and travel frequently. They want to know that the children are happy, healthy, and well cared for. They are particularly looking for someone who is reliable, kind, respectful, organized, and responsible.

Driving is required, and a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
