This family relocating from Ottawa to Toronto (Summerhill) with three children, ages 6, 4, and 1, is looking for a full-time nanny to start in early September. Care will primarily be for their 1-year-old. They’re offering up to $45 per hour, plus potential health benefits, for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duties:

1.) Care is primarily needed for their 1-year-old, including but not limited to:
- Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally supportive care
- Incorporating occupational therapy (OT), physiotherapy, and speech-language exercises into daily routines
- Supporting feeding, naps, and structured play
- Creating a calm, engaging, and responsive environment
- Observing and sharing developmental progress and insights
- Accompanying the child to occasional therapy appointments, if needed

2.) Helping with the older children after school, as needed.

3.) Child-related household tasks while the 1-year-old is sleeping and, if time permits. The family already has a housekeeping service.

They are a warm, busy family with three young children who are moving to Toronto this summer from Ottawa. They have two energetic and curious boys and a younger daughter who will be a toddler when the position begins. The boys are in school during the day and love being active, imaginative, and outdoors. They enjoy books, LEGO, sports, art, and pretend play. Their youngest daughter is sweet, social, and working hard on her development with the support of a wonderful care team. She has some additional developmental and medical needs, and they are looking for someone who can be a loving, steady presence in her life.

They are particularly looking for someone who is warm, reliable, experienced, engaged, active, and loving.

Experience supporting a child with special needs would be an asset, but they are also happy to consider someone who is willing to learn.

Driving is not required.
