DRIVING POSITION

*** Long-Term Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper Needed for a Warm Family Relocating to Toronto, Starting August 10, 2026, Earn Up to $36/Hour!

This family relocating to Toronto is looking for a long-term full-time nanny/housekeeper to grow with their family and care for their twins, who will be approximately 12 months old at the start date. For the first few months, the family will be living downtown near Lakeshore and Bathurst before moving to either Toronto’s west end (Roncesvalles or The Junction) or east end (The Beaches or Leslieville). They are hoping to find someone who can begin during the second week of August 2026 and are offering up to $36 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.) Childcare
- Preparing age-appropriate meals while following dietary guidance and allergen restrictions
- Getting the children dressed and ready each morning
- Bathing both children daily or as directed, including regular grooming such as nail trimming
- Administering vitamins or medications as instructed by the parents
- Managing naps using responsive, attachment-focused caregiving and supporting transitions to quiet time as naps are phased out
- Supporting toilet training when developmentally appropriate
- Maintaining consistent routines, boundaries, and household expectations
- Planning engaging developmental activities, including sensory play, reading, outdoor exploration, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning, including 1–2 outings daily for stimulation and fresh air
- Assisting with future school and extracurricular drop-offs/pick-ups as the children grow, including communication with teachers or instructors when needed
- Tracking feeds, naps, and notable observations throughout the day

2.) Household Management
- Managing household laundry for the entire family, including washing, hanging delicates, folding, organizing, and occasional dry-cleaning drop-off/pick-up
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen between scheduled deep cleans, including dishes, wipe-downs, surfaces, and dishwasher management
- Keeping bathrooms tidy between scheduled cleanings
- Grocery shopping and running household errands as needed during working hours
- Monitoring and restocking household and children’s supplies, and proactively communicating when items are running low
- Keeping an ongoing household needs list for the parents
- Managing household waste and emptying bins as needed

They are a values-driven, intercultural family relocating from New York City to Toronto. Both parents work from home and prioritize responsive caregiving, secure attachment, learning, and creating a warm, structured home environment.

They are looking for someone warm, proactive, reliable, and safety-focused who is genuinely invested in supporting the children’s development. The ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, exercises strong judgment, takes initiative appropriately, and contributes positively to the smooth running of the household. Direct experience caring for twins or multiples is a must.

The family travels several times per year and may occasionally require travel support. Any travel expectations would be discussed in advance. A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally are required.

Driving is required, and a vehicle will not be provided.
