*** A Repeat Client in The Annex (Toronto) is Looking for a Long-Term Part-Time Nanny to Start in September 2026, Earn Up to $35/Hour!

This lovely family in The Annex (Toronto) is looking for a long-term part-time nanny to join their team and provide care for their two children aged 5 years old and 7 years old, starting in September 2026. They're offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Friday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Note: The family can be flexible with the schedule and can offer Monday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, plus Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with Fridays off. The summer schedule may shift slightly, and flexibility to cover occasional sick days and PD days would be ideal.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.) Provide general care for their two children, including dropping off and picking up the children from school (which is an 8-minute walk from their home), bringing the children to occasional after-school activities in the neighbourhood (dance classes, library activities), preparing nutritious snacks, school lunches, and dinners for the children, planning and engaging the children in outdoor activities regardless of the weather, and leaving a written summary for the family at the end of each day so the parents can stay updated.

2.) Light housekeeping while the children are at school, such as tidying, meal prep, laundry, and occasional grocery shopping for, as time permits.

Both parents work in the medical field and are busy with their professions. They are particularly looking for a nanny who is safety-focused, warm, and a clear communicator, and above all else, responsible and reliable. The ideal candidate is someone who can foster a warm relationship with the children while keeping them engaged and stimulated.

They also have a small indoor cat. There is no requirement to care for the cat, but they would appreciate a nanny who is comfortable working in a home with a pet.

A candidate who speaks Chinese or Mandarin would be considered an asset, but it is not a requirement.

Driving is not required.
