This returning family in West Point Grey (Vancouver) is looking for an experienced, calm, and highly dependable overnight infant nanny to provide nighttime care for their 6-month-old child, starting as soon as possible until September 15, 2026. They’re offering up to $40 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM/8:00 AM (flexible). Please note your preferred schedule when applying.

Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Respond promptly to infant wakings, bottle feed during wake periods as instructed by parents while following infant feeding safety guidelines.
- Be comfortable lifting, lowering, and carrying a 20+ lb growing infant, including carrying the infant up and down stairs if needed.
- Maintain a quiet, low-stimulation nighttime atmosphere and escalate to parents only when appropriate.
- Wash baby laundry not completed by the family, fold and put it away, restock diapering stations, and notify the family when baby supplies are running low.
- Use the family iPad app and or Google Doc to record sleep durations, feeds, diaper changes, soothing interventions, and any notable overnight observations.
- Communicate briefly with parents primarily at check-in and check-out, and through written documentation systems.

They are a two-mom family. They are respectful, fun, generous, and honest. They are progressive-minded and want a nanny who respects the LGBTQ+IA2S and BIPOC communities and values differences in all people.

They are particularly looking for someone with extensive experience in infant care, specifically as an overnight nanny. Someone with strong familiarity with teething, infant sleep regressions, and developmental wake periods. Someone who is warm, calm, discreet, observant, adaptable, and responsive to parental routines, and respectful of and responsive to parental guidance, household standards, and family values.

The night nanny will work as part of a coordinated team of night nannies and should be comfortable maintaining continuity of care with the overnight team, completing clear written reporting, and supporting a calm, low-stimulation overnight environment.

Postpartum doula certification or postpartum doula experience would be a plus!
