*** A Busy Family in Georgetown is Looking for a Long-Term After-School Care Nanny to Start September 7, 2026. Earn Up to $35/Hour + Potential Perks!

This family in Georgetown, with two children ages 2 years old and 9 months old, is looking for a long-term after-school nanny starting September 7, 2026. They are offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate, plus other potential perks.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1.) Providing general childcare for the two children, including picking them up from daycare at 4:30 PM, engaging them in indoor or outdoor play, and caring for them after school until the parents arrive home between 5:45 and 6:15 PM.

2.) Light housekeeping, including tidying the home upon arrival, preparing dinner, and cleaning up after dinner.

They are a busy but very family-oriented household. Both parents are driven executives who take their parenting roles very seriously. They stay on top of developmental progress, education, and activity opportunities for their children, and most importantly, they create a calm and loving environment where their kids feel safe and valued. They value consistency, patience, and a warm but firm approach with the kids. Their toddler is energetic, curious, empathetic, and quite capable for her age. Their infant is still settling into routines around sleep and feeding. He loves to laugh, responds to singing, enjoys movement, and being outdoors.

They are looking for a nanny who will complement their family’s lifestyle and value a proactive, collaborative approach. The ideal candidate is a nanny who is calm yet structured, able to remain steady and composed, adaptable and engaging, and knowledgeable about child development. A nanny who is patient while confidently maintaining boundaries aligned with the parents’ approach and is comfortable navigating moments of crying, refusal, or unpredictability with a composed and supportive demeanor. Someone who brings a warm, organized presence and demonstrates strong communication skills, being clear, transparent about challenges, solution-oriented, and attentive to patterns. Punctuality and reliability are also important qualities for this role.

Experience with both infants and toddlers/preschoolers is a must.

Driving is required, and a vehicle will not be provided for work purposes.

Note: The family is also looking for a full-time summer nanny. The position is posted as #STN-10233TO.
