*** Part-Time Nanny/House Manager Needed for a Family in the Stonegate-Queensway (Toronto) to Start Early September 2026, Earn Up to $35/Hour!

This warm, loving, and busy family in Stonegate-Queensway, Toronto, with two children ages 2 and 1, is looking for a long-term nanny/house manager to start early September 2026. They’re offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
or
Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (with a couple of mornings per week)

Note: The family will also require occasional weekend support. Advance notice will be provided.

This is a hybrid role. Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.) Proactive Childcare & Developmental Support:
- Engaged Play: Caring for, feeding, and engaging both children in meaningful, play-based activities after daycare and during their evening routines.
- Developmental Focus: Helping implement intentional, play-based strategies to support developmental milestones, with a particular focus on encouraging speech, language acquisition, and communication through interactive play and reading.
- Proactive Care: Monitoring and tracking household needs, such as when diaper supplies are running low, managing toy rotations, and noticing when clothing has been outgrown or needs to be changed seasonally.

2.) Household Organization & Tidy Home Care:
- Initiative-Driven Organization: Recognizing areas that need attention and taking initiative, such as sorting and putting away items left on the dining table, decluttering cabinets, or organizing toy areas.
- Kitchen & Meal Upkeep: Occasionally preparing light snacks or meals for the family, with the primary focus on the children. Responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning up after the children’s meals (wiping high chairs, clearing dishes, cleaning the floor) and occasionally cleaning out the refrigerator. Heavy meal preparation is not required.
- Cleaning: Keeping the home tidy, including making/changing bed sheets, tidying toys, regular vacuuming, and occasional Swiffering of the floors to help maintain a clean environment for the children.
- Laundry: Managing the children’s and family’s laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing.
- Errands: Running occasional errands, such as picking up or returning purchases and grocery shopping.

Mom is currently on maternity leave until the end of the year, so this role will begin as a collaborative partnership and transition into providing more independent support as she returns to work. Their children are incredibly affectionate and sweet. They are looking for someone who can become a long-term part of their team, build a strong bond with the children, and grow with their family for years to come.

The ideal candidate is someone who is a natural organizer, detail-oriented, proactive, warm, loving, and passionate about childhood development and building meaningful relationships with children. An RECE designation or a background in education will be considered a strong asset.

Driving is required, and a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
