*** A Lovely Family in Leslieville (Toronto) is Looking for a Full-Time Nanny to Start April 20 to May 29, 2026, Earn Up to $35/Hour!

This family in Leslieville, Toronto, with two children aged 5 and 2, is looking for a short-term full-time nanny from April 20 to May 29, 2026. They’re offering up to $35/hour for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.) General Childcare:
- Primary focus is full-day care of the 2-year-old, including active engagement such as escorting the child to walkable neighborhood playgroups and centers.
- Preparing and feeding lunch/snacks, packing diaper bags, and snacks for both children.
- Maintaining a consistent 11:00 AM nap schedule.
- Includes a 10-minute walk to pick up the 5-year-old at 2:50 PM, managing playdates and park visits for both children until the 5:00 PM handover.

2.) Light Housekeeping:
- Keeping child-related areas tidy and ensuring gear is ready for the following day.

Both parents are working professionals who value structure, clear communication, and a loving home environment. The parents are highly involved, affectionate, maintain clear rules, and limit screen time. They are looking for temporary childcare for six weeks while their long-term nanny is on medical leave.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can maintain a “firm but fair” approach to boundaries, ensuring that the children feel secure within their established rules. They should be outgoing and comfortable engaging with neighborhood playgroups and coordinating with other local caregivers.

Respect for and understanding of LGBTQ+ identities is both important and required, as the oldest child is transgender and uses she/her pronouns.

Driving is not required.
