This lovely family in Parkdale, Calgary, with a 9-year-old, 8-year-old, and an expecting newborn at the end of August 2026, is looking for a full-time nanny to be part of their team and start on June 15, 2026. They are offering up to $40 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:
They are a blended family. Mom splits time with the older children, one week on and one week off. The family can guarantee 80 hours over a 2 week period. Some flexibility is required.
- Week #1 (with older children): Monday - Friday, 7:15AM-4:15PM
- Week #2 (baby only): Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General childcare for the 9-year-old and 8-year-old, including school pick-up and drop-off, transporting them to activities, preparing school lunches, light meal prep, and snacks.
- Assisting Mom with newborn support (caring for the newborn if Mom has to step out of the house).
- Light household duties (tidying toy spaces, laundry, cleaning up after meals) and running errands. No heavy house cleaning required.

Both children are in school full days, so the position will have flexibility during the day, with most of the family’s needs being before and after school care. During the weeks Mom does not have the children, hours can be focused on supporting Mom and the newborn. Mom is a nurse who will be starting maternity leave in late June and is looking for someone who can be an extra set of hands and integrate into the family before the newborn arrives.

The family loves to travel and plans international trips a few times a year. They also have a supportive extended family who are involved with the children, so it is important that the nanny is comfortable with this. They also have a family dog who travels between homes. The family has a dog walking service in place, but they would also appreciate it if the nanny can take the dog out for walks, as they are close to the river and dog parks.

They are looking for someone who already has extensive experience caring for these age groups and someone with a warm, caring disposition. An educational background in childhood development would be a plus!

Driving is required, and a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
