Additional Details:*** A Returning Family Near 33rd and Granville Is Looking for a Long-Term Overnight Nanny to Start ASAP, Earn Up to $35/Hour! This family near 33rd and Granville is looking for a nanny who can provide overnight monitoring and support for their medically fragile 8-year-old son, starting as soon as possible. They are offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate. Schedule: The hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday to Saturday. However, the family is flexible regarding which nights the nanny would be available. They have Monday nights covered and would be happy to consider any combination of shifts from Tuesday to Sunday. Please let us know your availability when you apply. Duties:
One or both parents will be in the home during overnight shifts, so if anything unexpected happens, they will step in to help. The nanny will be required to stay awake for the entire shift. The parents are detail-oriented, so clear verbal and written instructions will be provided, along with simple training on some medical equipment. Their 8-year-old child is a charming little boy who loves reading, music, and dancing. He can communicate well using ASL, spoken words, and AAC. He has Down syndrome and some medical needs. Due to his medical concerns, he is G-tube fed and receives oxygen through a nasal cannula. He also uses a nasal high-flow humidifier, and his oxygen levels are monitored overnight. Experience caring for individuals with Down syndrome, developmental delays, or medical needs would be an asset, but is not required. Given the medical fragility of their son, it is very important that the family stays healthy. A nanny who is mindful of health, cleanliness, and hygiene is desired. The nanny will need to wear a mask while in the home, except when eating or drinking, and should always wear a mask around their son. Frequent hand washing or sanitizing is required, especially before interacting with him. The nanny should also receive the flu vaccine each year and be vaccinated against COVID-19. There is a hypoallergenic dog in the home, but she is crated overnight. No cooking is required. No car or driver’s license is required.
