Full-Time Nanny Opportunity in West Kelowna to Start Late April, Earn Up to $35/Hour!

This fun-loving, adventure-seeking family in West Kelowna is looking for a reliable and flexible nanny for their 6-month-old child, starting late April. They are offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule: 3 varying days per week, including weekends. Start time will always be 6:00 AM, and end time may vary. The position guarantees 39 hours per week. Please note that flexibility is important due to the mom’s work schedule.

Duties:
- Provide attentive, loving care and supervision at all times.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental activities such as sensory play, reading, music, and fine and gross motor play.
- Spend time outdoors daily through walks, park visits, nature exploration, and backyard play.
- Support healthy routines, including naps, meals, and snacks.
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in child-related areas.
- Encourage language development, curiosity, and social skills through interactive play.
- Follow parents’ guidance on routines, discipline style, and developmental goals.
- Light housekeeping, including taking their 2 dogs for walks. The family already has a housekeeping service.

Both parents are busy professionals with demanding schedules, so they need someone flexible to help care for their lovely son. Mom will be returning to part-time work in May, and ideally, they would like the nanny to start before May to ensure everything is running smoothly before mom returns full-time in July.

They are particularly looking for someone who is naturally kind, patient, and calm. The ideal candidate is adventurous and outdoorsy, energetic, and physically able to keep up with a very active child. They should be reliable, punctual, and communicative with parents, warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoy playing on the floor, getting messy, and being silly. Knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate activities is important.

Proficiency in Spanish, French, or German would be a plus!

Driving is required, and a vehicle will not be provided.
