This family with an 11-month-old child, who recently moved to Whitby, is looking for a part-time nanny/house manager to join their household as soon as possible. They are offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate. Schedule:
Note: The family has some flexibility with the schedule as long as it consists of three full days during the week. However, they will not require help on Wednesdays. Occasionally, Saturday help may also be needed (with advance notice if the nanny was interested. This is not a requirement). Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to, the following: 1.) Providing general childcare for their 11-month-old child, including planning and engaging the child in age-appropriate activities. 2.) House management, including light household chores, meal preparation, and general assistance around the home. The family already has a housekeeper. The family recently moved to Canada. The dad works outside the home during the day, while the mom works from home. They are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and flexible in managing day-to-day household needs. The ideal candidate is kind, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative without constant direction. It would also be a bonus if someone is available to travel with them occasionally. They have two dogs and may occasionally require assistance with walking them. It is important that the candidate is comfortable around dogs. Driving is not required.
