This returning family in Capilano Highlands, North Vancouver, with three children ages 12, 10, and 8, is looking for a part-time driving nanny/house manager to start as soon as possible. They’re offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate, along with a paid commute as a benefit. Schedule:
Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to: 1.) Provide general childcare and drive the kids to activities. 2.) House management such as running errands, meal preparation (lunches for the next day, baking for snacks, occasional dinner prep), grocery shopping, general household organization, including light tidying (dishwasher unloading, vacuuming high-traffic areas), kids’ laundry, and ironing. The family already has a housekeeping service. All three children participate in competitive dance, gymnastics, and hockey. They are active, smart, and funny. They are particularly looking for someone who is a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision after initial guidance, personable and able to build a positive rapport with the children, and organized and flexible, capable of managing the complexity of three children’s schedules. They also have two indoor cats and would appreciate it if the nanny/house manager could check on the cats daily when they are away on vacation (if the nanny/house manager is not also on vacation at that time). Driving required. A vehicle will be provided for work purposes. If the nanny/house manager prefers to use their own vehicle, the family will provide standard mileage reimbursement plus gas costs.
